User Groups

To enter the User Group configuration click User Groups on the menu.

Add new User Group

Select [New Group].

Enter a Group Name and click Save.

Optionally you can assign privileges to the new User Group.

Group Permissions

• Project Configuration - Allow configuration of Projects

• User Security - Allow adding, editing and deleting of Users and User Groups

• View Connections - Allow viewing Data Connections

• Add/Edit Connection - Allow adding, editing and deleting  Data Connections

• Register License - Allow registering DBxtra .NET licenses

• Admin DBxtra Server DB - Allow accessing DBxtra Server DB utilities like backup, restore of backups and compacting the DBxtra Server DB.

• Export/Import Objects - Allow exporting and importing Projects and Objects from the Utility menu.

• Export Linked Excel - Allow exporting to linked Excel Sheets and Excel pivot tables.

Edit User Group

Select a user Group.

You can change the User Group name and optionally User Group privileges.

Delete User Group

Select the user Group  to be deleted and click Delete.

If a User Group has associated Users it can not be deleted. In this case you need to delete associated Users first.
