The Pivot Grid

DBxtra let's you embed designed Pivot Grids into Reports.

Open the Visual report Designer.

Drag and drop the "PivotGrid" button into a band area.

Tip: Drop it into the Report header,  Page footer band. Do not drop into the Page Header section; it might not fit.

Insert a Pivot Grid

Select a already created Pivot Grid and its View.

Format the Pivot Report

Format the Pivot Areas

Select the Pivot Grid.

Choose an area of the Pivot Grid on the menu bar.

Select an formatting option.

The format will be applied.

Assign Formats to Individual Fields

Although DBxtra inherits formats from the Pivot grid you can change those formats.

Select the data field.

Click the "Format" button on the menu bar.

Assign the format.

The format will be applied.

Adjust Column Widths

Select the data field.

Adjust the column width on the menu bar.

Apply Styles

To assign a predefined style select the Pivot Grid and click "Style" on the menu bar.

Select the Pivot area and select a style.

The selected style will be applied.
