The Pivot Grid lets you arrange pivot tables.
You can open a Pivot Grid from any loaded Query or Report.
Select a Query / Report or create a new one.
Click "Pivot Grid" on the menu bar.

Drag and drop fields from the field list to an Pivot area.


You can create multi level Pivot tables.


The Pivot Grid Field list must be loaded.
You can load it by clicking the "Show /Hide Field List" button.
Select the field from the Pivot Grid and drag and drop it to the Field list.

You can assign formats to Pivot Grid columns.
Click "Format Columns" on the Grid Options menu bar.


Select the column and assign a format.
Note!
The format will be assigned to all Data Grid Views and also to all Pivot
Grid Views.
Changes will be reflected immediately in the DBxtra Designer - DBxtra Desktop Viewer - Report Web Service Data Grid and Pivot Grid.
Select "Custom Format".


Select "Special" and enter any format into the "Custom" tab.
Click "Reset" on the Columns menu bar.

By default DBxtra assigns the SUM function to data fields.
Click "Change Sum, Count, ..." on the menu bar.

Select the column and Summaries function.

To sort on a Row or Column field click the arrow in it.

It will either change to ascending or descending.
To sot on a Data field click the "Refresh Fields" button, then select the sort field and the "By" field

Then click the small arrow in the row or column field you selected.

To filter data in a Pivot Grid select the field and click the Drop Down box.
You can select either individual fields or all.

To filter on a field which is not included in the row or column area drag and drop the field into the filter area.

You can select either individual fields or all.

To expand or collapse an individual column click the

icon.
To expand or collapse all columns select the appropriate option from the menu bar.

It will either change to ascending or descending.
Click on the "Export To" menu button.
You can export the Pivot Grid data to text, Excel and CSV.
