Report Web Service on a Shared Hosting Server

Upload all required files

Server Requirements:

The web server has to have the IIS - Internet Information Server and the ASP. Net framework 2 or higher installed.

If you want to use the DBxtra Report Web Service on a shared hosted Server then you need to upload all files with an FTP program.

1. Copy and upload all files from your C:\Program Files\DBxtra .NET\Report Web Service folder.

2. Copy and upload to the root of your hosted Virtual directory the files:

DBxtraDB.mdb

DBxtraScheduleHistoryDB.mdb

Create a virtual directory.

Assign permissions for the ASPNET user.

Note; You need to ask your hosting provider how to do that. Each hosting provider has a different control panel.
