Preview a Report

You can preview a Report from within the Report designer, however in order to not to affect speed of Report design it will only display some records.

Hint: To view the complete Report click Preview from the DBxtra Designer or Desktop Viewer interface. Or use the Report Web Service to view reports.

Given the situation that the Report design might vary a bit depending if you view the Report from DBxtra Designer - DBxtra Desktop Viewer or through a web browser you can preview the Report design either as regular Report or Web Report.

Print Preview

To view how a Report will look either in the DBxtra Designer or DBxtra Desktop Viewer, click Print Preview on the menu.

This will show a small set of your data.

To return to Design Mode click the Report Design button on the menu.

HMTL View

To view how a Report will look in the Report web service, click HTML View on the menu.

This will show a small set of your data.

Return to Design Mode

To return to Design Mode click the Report Design button on the menu.
