Parameter Query

Create a Parameter Criteria

Define a Query as a Parameter Query where the user will be asked to enter Parameters each time the Query or Report is opened.

Select the field Criteria and double click it.

Enter any Operator and leave the "@Paramx" expression as entered by DBxtra .NET

Click "Ok" to finish.

DBxtra .NET will enter the Parameter into the "Criteria" field.

When running a Parameter Query or Report the user will be asked to enter a Parameter to filter the data.

You can choose to enter a value; load data from the database by clicking "Show Values"  or select "All values".

Note! Parameter Queries also apply to Reports and Charts.

If you design a Report based on a Parameter Query then it will act as an Parameter Report.
