Are there samples provided with the demo?

Yes; actually there are 2 sample projects provided – DBxtra Sample and DBxtra Tutorial. Both are connected to a MS Access database which is distributed with the trial.. You should play around with the samples.

Can I add licenses later?

Yes you can; if you order additional licenses we’ll send you a new license key by e-mail.

You license the DBxtra Designer and Viewer as concurrent users; what does that mean?

Concurrent users means - users who open any report at the same time.
Let’s suppose you own 5 DBxtra Designer users; you can install DBxtra as on many machines you like but only 5 users can access it at the same time. Or if you own 20 Viewer licenses then only 20 users can open reports at the same time.

Do DBxtra Viewer licenses apply for both the desktop Viewer and Report Web Service?

Yes; a Viewer license will be counted the same for the desktop or Report Web Service.

Do you offer educational licenses?

I need an unlimited user license!

We provide unlimited user and unlimited Schedule Server Jobs licenses. Contact us for a quote.

Is the Report Web Service for free?

A 100% free, but you need Designer or Viewer licenses to open web reports.

How long does it take to receive the license key?

It usually takes less than 24 hours – after purchase - until you receive your license key tough we compromise on 72 hours.

Is support included with the purchase of a license?

Yes; we offer one year of free maintenance which includes e-mail support and all upgrades for free. After the first year you need to order a maintenance plan to enjoy e-mail support and all free upgrades for one more year. The maintenance plan costs 20% of your current licenses value for one more additional year.

Are all future upgrades included?

Is the Schedule Server unlimited?

Yes; the Schedule Server does not have any limitation regarding the quantity of Schedule jobs. You can create and execute as many Schedule jobs as needed.
